2nd Annual Charity Golf Tournament

Watch your face! Balls will be flying at ASU's Karsten Golf Course in Tempe, Arizona on May 30.
Volunteers in the Garden will be hosting the Desert Botanical Garden’s 2nd Annual Charity Golf Tournament, “Golfin’ in the Desert" beginning at 7:30 a.m. The event, which raked in a cool $13,000 last year, seeks to raise money to bring children of the Valley's Title One schools to the educational program at the Garden.

The first 100 golfers to enter will be stroking, cajoling and whispering sweet somethings to their shaft in hopes of earning the title of supreme putter. But in the end, everybody wins (ey, it's for charity).

The $125 entrance fee includes green fees, cart, practice balls, two raffle tickets and gourmet burgers and Hotdogs. Fore!
